PHASE 1 OF 4

Research

We conducted in depth demographic research to produce a comprehensive market report. We knocked on the doors of competitor developments, mapped out cultural influencers in Frankfurt, and completed a full swot analysis of the area to paint a full picture.

PHASE 2 OF 4

Concept

Frankfurt is a global travel hub for corporations. How can these employees enjoy a better work life balance when they are in town? And how can engaging them be beneficial for Frankfurt’s reputation and hospitality scene? Coliving for young corporates is a unique approach to the market.

PHASE 3 OF 4

Planning

Spanning 302,000 SF, the build potential at this new development is very spacious for its 750 room key allowance. We worked with the technical architect to design floorplans and stacking plan with the coliving user, and the developer, in mind through and through.

PHASE 4 OF 4

Design

The operator has an in house design team. However, a key point of their design ethos is to integrate a local aesthetic. To avoid redundant research work, we briefed their design team on ideas, introduced them to creatives we met, and ensured the designs enhanced our planning work.
